At the meeting the members adopted the guidelines for the corporate identity of Slovenia's EU Presidency, and for the implementation of organisational and technical tasks. The Core Working Group reviewed the ministries' proposal for informal ministerial meetings in Slovenia during the Presidency, and the draft calendar of “EU-third countries” meetings.
The Core Working Group also examined the programme proposals for the promotion of Slovenia, presented by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Government PR and Media Office, and issued guidelines for the preparation of the final proposal.
The report on preparations of the Republic of Slovenia for the EU Presidency in the first half of 2008 will be discussed by the Government at the end of April. In May the head of the Operational Group for Preparation of Activities and Holding the Presidency will inform the competent working bodies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, and Slovenia's MPs to the European Parliament.
