Prime Minister Janez Janša offers condolences on the air disaster in Spain |

In a letter of condolence sent today to Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Prime Minister Janez Janša offered his profound condolences on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the tragic plane crash which took place yesterday afternoon at Madrid’s Barajas airport.
The Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende and Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, since citizens of Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden were among the victims. “Our thoughts and sympathies are with the families of the plane crash victims,” wrote Prime Minister Janša in the letter.
