Prime Minister Janez Janša to attend this year’s European Forum in Lech |

On Saturday, 1 March 2008, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia and President of the European Council, Mr Janez Janša, will attend - at the invitation of the Austrian Federal Chancellor, Mr Alfred Gusenbauer - the 11th European Forum in Lech, Austria.
Talks at the Forum will focus mainly on energy and climate issues and the future of the Western Balkans. In addition to other senior political representatives, the meeting will be attended by the President of the European Commission, Mr José Manuel Barroso, the President of the European Parliament, Mr Hans-Gert Pöttering, the Austrian Foreign Minister, Mrs Ursula Plassnik, and the Polish Foreign Minister, Mr Radosław Sikorski.
