On this occasion, the PM said that organising this event was a commendable idea, as sport is a means of overcoming social differences and changing the quality of life, which had been proven by the fact that over 75 per cent of the five hundred players who attended the Homeless World Cup last year, permanently changed their lifestyle. The PM also wished the Slovenian team, who are attending the cup for the first time, a successful competition.
On this occasion, the PM played in a friendly match between the government and a team of business representatives and famous Slovenes, which ended in a 6:6 draw.
