The Resolution includes key development and investment projects, which will facilitate faster development of Slovenia, while considering social aspects and the environment. "The main objective of Slovenia's Development Strategy is to bring Slovenia to average EU development level in ten years or, preferably, by 2013," added the Prime Minister. The resolution outlines 35 projects, each worth at least 50 million euros, and with a total value of almost 24 billion euros.
Among numerous resolution goals, the PM emphasised drawing up a list of key priority needs, included in the national development priorities, and developing the relevant strategies, while ensuring timely preparations for the implementation of the projects. The document, which was approved today, facilitates budget planning. The Government of the Republic of Slovenia also aims to achieve a more balanced and faster regional development, and concentrate on seizing the opportunities arising from public-private partnerships.
