PM receives Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Titus Corlăţean. They devoted special attention to relations between Slovenia and Romania in the political and economic areas, expressing their belief that economic cooperation between the two countries can be further strengthened in the future.
The Prime Minister outlined the efforts of the Slovenian Government to deal with the economic and financial crisis, highlighting in particular the recovery of the banking sector and privatisation. Ms Bratušek and Mr Corlăţean agreed that, with Slovenian investment in Romania amounting to EUR 23.6 million at the end of 2012, the two countries had the potential to enhance their cooperation in foreign direct investment, particularly in infrastructure and transport, agriculture, forestry and the environment, and information and communication technologies.
