In this respect, the Prime Minister called attention to the measures to be prepared by the Government and emphasised that in the last five months, some difficult issues had to be solved, with some more waiting to be prepared.  She pointed out that in doing so, the Government had never thought of reducing pensions and that she herself would make every effort to prevent that the burden of the crisis was borne only by the pensioners. By way of conclusion, the Prime Minister stressed that we needed more cooperation and solidarity. She said:  “If ever solidarity was important in the society, it is now.  It is important that we combine forces and show our capabilities to support the issues that might be painful in order to improve our situation.”
