The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, after the concluded coordination procedure with presidents of the coalition parties, deputies of the coalition parties and ministers of the Slovenian Government, involving the discussion on the 2013 national budget draft revision, said she was pleased that the coalition supported the Government's efforts and the proposed revision of the 2013 national budget. "By Thursday, when the revised budget is to be adopted by the Government, we will make a few small corrections in accordance with today's discussion," explained the Prime Minister and reiterated that the 2013 budget had been prepared totally unrealistically because it allowed the existence of a 1.8 billion euros gap between what was real and what was planned in the budget. For this reason, the budget for the current year needs to be adjusted to the actual situation. "We will strive to do everything that will enable us to pursue the aims set in the stability programme by the end of the year. I particularly wish to emphasise that this revision does not include any additional measures which would not have already been presented in the stability programme," added the Prime Minister in her press release after the meeting.
