Prime Minister Pahor receives Dragoljub Mićunović

The Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor today met with the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Professor Dr Dragoljub Mićunović. In a relaxed atmosphere, Mr Pahor and Dr Mićunović agreed that bilateral cooperation is good and that relations between the two countries are friendly.

Prime Minister Pahor first informed the guest about the developments within the Brdo Process launched last month at Brdo pri Kranju, and announced a follow-up in the form of a meeting of ministers for transport and infrastructure. The meeting is expected to be attended by the ministers from all countries of the Western Balkans. Mr Pahor and Dr Mićunović focused their talks on political situation in the Western Balkans, in particular on the developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. They also touched upon Serbia's European perspective and economic cooperation between the two countries. The Slovenian Prime Minister emphasised that Serbia is among the most important markets for Slovenian investments abroad. Therefore, Slovenia is highly interested in further enhancement of bilateral economic cooperation. 

      
At the close of the meeting, Mr Pahor informed the President of the Serbian Parliamentary Committee, Dr Mićunović, that Slovenia has ratified the Agreement on Social Insurance at the end of March.
