Prior to the official opening of the exhibition, Prime Minister Pahor, accompanied by prof. Podrecca, made a tour of the exhibition and later, at the opening ceremony, he also delivered an address. Among other things, Prime Minister said that prof. Podrecca is not only a renowned architect but also an esteemed intellectual: “That’s why he is even more important as an interlocutor who often likes to come join us. He is a living architectural thought, pervading our milieu, and due to his multicultural nature, we can, without reservation, consider him to be our architect Boris Podrecca. This is all the more true, since over the past decades his reputation and thorough work have significantly contributed that Europe and the world became familiar with Plečnik and Fabiani and their work."
