Prime Minister Pahor meets Foreign Minister of Cape Verde, José Brito
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today met with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cape Verde, José Brito. Mr Pahor and Mr Brito agreed that relations between the two countries are very good. Mr Brito thanked Slovenia for its support in concluding a Special Partnership between Cape Verde and the European Union.

During their talk Mr Pahor emphasised that, in spite of the remoteness, the two countries can cooperate well in political and economic areas. On the margins of the meeting, Mr Brito expressed support for Slovenia's candidacy for non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2012–2013.
