Before the meeting, Mr Pahor said that the Government would adopt a proposal for the third and most demanding package of measures, to be drawn up by Tuesday by the crisis group of ministers, only after it was thoroughly discussed within the Social and Economic Council. The Prime Minister further stressed that the Government needs to engage in a comprehensive social dialogue and to design solutions which would be in line with the expectations of employers, employees and other social groups insofar as possible.

At today’s working meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, participants also exchanged views about practical support to Slovenian export companies in penetrating foreign markets, particularly those not yet entered. Mr Pahor stressed that in such circumstances the Government wished to offer practical support and help in concluding agreements through economic diplomacy.
