Prime Minister takes questions from parliamentary deputies

At the third regular session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Prime Minister Borut Pahor answered questions from deputies; three questions were raised by opposition deputies, while one came from the coalition side.

Zmago Jelinčič Plemeniti, President of the Slovenian National Party (SNS), asked who would carry the financial burden of envisaged payments of damages awarded to "the erased" in court proceedings. Jakob Presečnik of the Slovenian People’s Party (SLS) enquired about measures to prevent and mitigate the consequences of dismissal for workers who have become jobless due to the financial crisis and left with housing loans to repay. Deputy Zvonko Černač from the Social Democratic Party (SDS) asked about the consequences of a choice to issue decisions without legal basis. Cvetka Zalokar Oražem, head of the ZARES group, asked Mr Pahor to assess the Government’s first 100 days, especially with reference to the proposed measures for mitigating the financial and economic crisis.
