Prime Minister Borut Pahor meets President of the National Council
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today met the President of the National Council, Blaž Kavčič. Mr Kavčič provided the Prime Minister with a detailed presentation of the activities of the National Council and certain topical issues associated with its functioning, as well as with individual initiatives intended to increase the efficiency of its functioning in the future.

Prime Minister Pahor promised that, irrespective of differing views of the future functioning of the National Council, the Slovenian Government would do the utmost within its power to enable the National Council to continue to perform its constitutionally defined function.
