The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia and President of the European Council, Mr Janez Janša, today congratulated Mr Dmitry Medvedev on his election as President of the Russian Federation.

PM Janez Janša also offered his personal congratulations to the winner of the presidential elections in Russia and wished him every success in taking on the important responsibilities of the office.
