The PM expressed satisfaction that the procedure to replace two ministers had been completed so quickly. "The new ministers of transport and health will be able to take on their work with maximum energy tomorrow."

According to PM Janez Janša, the Slovenian government has been joined by two ministers who are willing to use their fresh energy to successfully negotiate problems the solving of which may not have been the smoothest in the past. He stressed, however, that a lot of work had been completed. "The foundations are by no means hollow – they are solid, but there are a few problems that need solving before a house can be built. I am convinced that the fresh energy of the two ministers will speed up the process," said PM Janez Janša.

The PM also said he expected the appointment of a new Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology would be equally fast. He will forward his proposal to the National Assembly tomorrow.
