Prime Minister Janez Janša at an informal EU meeting in Sintra

Following an invitation by the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, the German Federal Chancellor, Angela Merkel, the Prime Minister of Portugal, José Sócrates, and the President of the European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pöttering, will attend an informal EU meeting held from 11 to 13 May 2007 in Sintra, Portugal. They will discuss strategic priority tasks of the presiding trio and the current situation in the EU.
